    Menzies Towing is the the local Rockhampton contracted towing company for Queensland RACQ auto breakdown services. I was hoping to be able to get towing for my vehicle under my membership, but because of the size of my vehicle, and only being covered for basic breakdowns, I had to pay $440 for the 60km tow back to Rock'y. Seemed like an expensive job - especially being an NRMA member! - but what could I do?

    He was very switched on, casual but professional, cool & attentive. He even provided me with details of a motel to contact to arrange accommodation for the coming nights, as we knew it would not be a quick fix. He dropped me off there on the way thru, rather than me having to call a cab much later from the depot.

    Anyhow, Kie from Menzies Towing arrived and picked up my campervan and I from the very busy and dangerous side of the Bruce Highway last Wednesday, having boiled over and thus also cooked my engine.
